Biography:
Hey Everyone! My name is April Milanowski, but I usually answer to any month and I am your Central Regional Vice President. Here are some little tidbits on me. I am 20 years old and a Pre-Nursing major at Heartland Community College in Normal, IL.I have graduated early this past May, but I am finishing up my last two classes this fall. I however, am continuing my education to help me gain acceptance into the program by fall 2012! I then plan to transfer to a senior institution to gain my bachelors and hopefully my masters to possibly specialize.
I love the color blue and I am a huge animal and nature lover, but my passion is marine life and nearly anything with water!! Traveling is a passion of mine as well as reading and scuba diving. When I heard of the Central Regional position opening I jumped at the opportunity! Take life by the horns right? I want to make the most of every Phi Theta Kappa opportunity I can get and bring all others along with me for a fun journey! My chapter is Alpha Omega Xi and we are a small, but great group whom I consider to be very close with. I hope to pass this to my district chapters and set this as a region goal, as well as many other goals for our wonderful group. However, I hope to at least help my groups accomplish their regional, local and individual goals, create better communication between our groups and attend as many events as possible for everyone!
