Regional Officer's Retreat
This past weekend your Illinois Regional Officers met for a two day get-together
in Bloomington, Illinois to discuss updates concerning the Illinois Region,
90th Annual Phi Theta Kappa International Convention, and the Illinois Regional
Convention in June.

"The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship
among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa
shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service,
for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for
scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."

Illinois Region Mission Statement
The purpose of the Illinois region shall be to provide a means through which its chapters
may achieve the goals and purposes of the International Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Illinois chapters shall promote participation in international and regional activities,
enhance development in the four hallmarks, promote teamwork,and foster understanding
among all chapters and members within the region.
